The interior has been thoughtfully arranged to give maximum comfort and space . The separate sleeping area has a comfortable double bed with bedside tables and lamps , wardrobe and clothes drawers , 2 windows look south over the garden and open fields. The studio is always booked up in advance so please book early to secure your holiday dates.
The Kitchen is well equipped for your holiday needs . A 4 burner gas hob with electric ovan , extractor fan , fridge with freezer box and ample cooking utensils , toaster and coffee filter . Opposite is the dining table with 2 chairs.
The Living area has a 2 seater sofa and 2 arm chairs , a bookshelf with various books for holiday reading and a good selection of maps and local information. (all in english) . There is a log burning stove and electric wall radiator. A radio/casette/cd player with a selection of cd‘s , but please feel free to bring your own.
There is a shower room with wash basin , mirror and shelving , heated towel rail and toilet .
There is a washing machine for guests , it is located in the garage .

The Orchard Studio has its own large and private sunny garden with an above ground pool (3.75mts dia x 1.15mt depth) available from May - September .
The west facing terrace has a table and chairs for outside dining , 2 sunloungers and a gas bar-b-q , and overlooks the garden and hills.
The tranquil village of Fosse is surrounded by open and unspoiled countryside , perfect for those who want to escape and enjoy the simple pleasures of life , and who enjoy walking and birdwatching . Many of the walks are marked and vary in length from half an hour to a full day .
Fosse also has its own large open-air swimming pool which opens July and August , 6 afternoons a week , and a tennis court .
The nearest shops are in Caudies ( 10 mins drive), here you have a butchers , bread shop , chemist , small supermarket , bar and bar/restaurant and newsagents.
In Saint Pauls you have more choice of shops plus a large supermarket , banks and petrol station. There are seveal other restaurants within a 15 minute drive.

Activities such as white water rafting , horse riding , canoeing , rock climbing and swimming , all within a short drive .
Weekly open-air markets in surrounding villages , a great place to buy fresh produce and to mix with the locals .
At least one of the three spectacular Cathar Castles of Queribus , Peyrepertuse or Puilaurens should be visited , the views are amazing.
The Gorge de Galamus . You can walk along and look down the sheer drop to the bottom , also the little old church carved into the rock face .
The Roman aquaduct , still in perfect working condition and used today for irrigation , there is also a lovely circular walk through the vineyards.
The Tourist train , winding its way through spectacular scenery , stopping at various places so you can stop and look.

Fosse is in the heart of the stunning wine producing area of the Fenouilledes . Wine tasting is available in almost any village you come to , and you will be spoiled for choice when deciding which wines to try , though we do offer reccommendations from our own experiences .
There are many restaurants in surrounding villages , all serving local dishes to suit all tastes .

The Orchard Studio is for couples who want peace and quiet with time to relax in tranquil and rural surrounds.
Change over day is normally saturday , but we do try to be flexible.
To confirm a booking we ask for a deposit of 25% of the holiday cost.
The balance is payable 6 weeks prior to arrival , by sterling/euro cheque or bank transfer.
Arrival time after 2pm
Departure time before 10.30am - this allows us time for the changeover for the new guests arrival.
