Interior
First floor living with big open fire. The kitchen is complete with fiveburner gasstove and electrical hot air oven, dishwasher, microwave and 2 frigidaires. Cooking utensils and tableware are more than sufficiently supplied.
The villa is tastefully and in style decorated and comfortably furnished.
Annex to the house, situated to the south, is a covered terras, called auvent in french. Also on the ground floor is a separate room (aprox 20m2) for storage, here are also a washingmachine and dryer available for you.
On the first floor are three sleepingrooms, of which two with bathroom,and on the landing a separate toilet. The villa is situated on a 1600m2 terrain with swimmingpool (11 by 5,5m) and a sunning terras.
From the house you have a splendid vieuw on the surrounding grapeyards, the village of Roussillon(illuminated at night) which is situated on the ocre rocks and the hills of the Luberon.

Exterior
The Villa is situated in the middle of the national parc of the Luberon at aprox. 4km from the ocre village Roussillon.
Nearby are several historical towns like Avignon, Carpentras, Aix en Provence and Orange. All at 30 to 45 minutes by car. Marseille and Lac de St.Croix, gorges du Verdon, are at about one hour driving distance.
In the direct neighbourhood are pitturesque villages like Bonnieux, Menerbes (famous by the books of Peter Mayle), Lacoste (ruins of the castle of Marquis de Sade) and Gordes.
Also weekly authentic provencal markets are taking place in Carpentras(friday), Apt(saturday) and Ille sur la Sorgue(sunday, anthiques)
Things to do locally
Taking in culture and history in Avignon, Orange, Arles or Nimes. Visiting mediaeval villages like Boonnieux and Gordes. Walking in the mountains of the Luberon or visiting the ocre rocks in Rustrel or Roussillon is very worthwhile. Also a visit to the Mont Ventoux, specially when the Tour the France passes is a must. Summarising the surroundings invite you to enjoy the lovely countryside with its pitoresque villages and its supperb climate.
