About 10 minutes away are the lively tourist towns of Vallon Pont D’Arc and Ruoms that are not only centres for sport and recreation, but also for gastronomical exploration and local produce. ”Mas et Jardin”*** with its magnificently large garden and swimming pool is an oasis of exclusive peace and privacy.

”Mas et Jardin”*** is only ten minutes away from all kinds of sporting and tourist attractions. Canoeing, kayaking and rafting in the ”Gorges de l’Ardèche” are some of the possiblities. 8km away one can go dingy sailing, or take a 24lm trail of discovery just 32 km away and go sailing in a grandiose place of rugged nature and beautiful high escarpments. Here you can glide under the ’Pont d’Arc’, a natural stone arch created by millions of years of water passing through it.
Other sporting opportunities in the area include mountainbiking, white water rafting/canyoning, caving and climbing the high natural cliff faces that are all around our locality. From ”Mas et Jardin”*** it is a 10 minute walk to a riding stables with treks for adults and children. For serious walkers and mountain bikers there are marked out routes to follow, some of which start from the foot of ”Mas et Jardin”***.
The centre of the nearby picturesque village of Lagorce has a grocers, a post office and a silk-worm museum. The village also boasts a tennis court and several restaurants. Would you believe that you can also go swimming and sunbathing on one of the many beaches that line the Beaume, Ibie, Chassezac and Drobie rivers? There are so many things to do in the region that it is impossible to describe them all here. | The ”Mas et Jardin”*** lies in the middle of the sunny and unique AOC vineyards of the Ardeche. At a distance of 500 metres you can find the excellent ”Pecoulas” wine from our farm. On arrival you will receive a welcoming glass of fresh ”Pecoulas” rose to revive you after your journey. All over the area there are many different restaurants with local and national specialities. There are also many daily and evening markets throughout the summer selling local Ardeche produce.

The owners, Gejo and Yam Klos have tried to think of everything; space, calm, luxury and privacy for their guests. The interior of the gîte has a large screen TV and stereo, and is meticulously decorated to a high level of comfort. The Canal satellite shows more than 300 channels and the wifi internet connection reaches as far as the summer salon next to the swimming pool. The large built in kitchen is fully equipped and the bedrooms are all differently decorated and contain their own baths. Towards the end of the season ”Mas et Jardin”*** can be warmed through by its magnificent open fireplace.
The large terrace of 7 x 3 metres is receives the morning sun making it a lovely place for breakfast, and a shady oasis at lunchtime. Under the terrace there is also a shady place for barbeques. The large sunny garden of 1200 square metres includes sunbeds, lounge area and a swimming pool is directly in the sun until the evening sunset. It is a unique place where you can experience an abundant sense of freedom and well being. It really is a holiday location for guests who expect a level of comfort and privacy for a reasonable price.
