Our “ bed and breakfast” is situated in the centre of one of the more charming villages of the Provence. The styling of the house has been beautifully executed by Christine Millerin who has decorated all the rooms with wall paintings giving a special ambiance to the house. Character, charm and luxury have hereby been maintained. The house is on three stories. There are 4 bedrooms, each with their own character. The larger suite (”Le Roy”) is situated on the top floor with an original bath on cast-iron legs, separate massage shower and a toilet with its own exit door out onto a roof terrace. The suite can easily be enlarged by including a second bedroom transforming it into a family suite. On the second level there is ”Chambre Marie” which offers a king-sized bed, toilet and shower. First level consists of ”Chambre Louise” with toilet and shower and the communal living room with open fireplace, TV and DVD. This room can be used by all our guests to read, enjoy a glass of wine or just relax and chat.
On the same floor there is also a small “atelier” where the paintings of the “lady of the house” - who is an artist - are exhibited. In the summer the breakfast is served on our roof terrace where, if you wish after a busy day, you can also enjoy an aperitif.
In short, a centrally situated spot for a wonderful stay in the Provence.

Things to do locally
In the pleasant centre of Cotignac you can find many nice shops and boutiques. On Tuesday morning - almost on the doorstep - there is an authentic provincial market where you can buy local produce and lovely souvenirs. In the neighbourhood there are several possibilities to swim in fresh water lakes and rivers, to walk or cycle and there are also several organised trips from the village to other local historic villages such as Salernes, Entrecasteaux, Carces and Lorgues. Cotignac itself is an artistic village with artists of various nationalities exhibiting their creations. The historic rock dwellings nearby are also certainly worth visiting as are the abbeys and monasteries.
