them have a double bed and a single bed) and two
single rooms. 2 adjacent bathrooms, one of them has
a washing-machine. Fully equiped kitchen and dining
room are situated in a separate facility under the cherry
trees with a wonderful view on the mountains. There is
a fire-place, there are woodstoves and every room is
electrically heated as well. Swimmingpool (end of june)
-Malfay: estate 38 ha of unspoiled nature, extensive
forest and mountain paths, lovely views.

Golfers-arrangement:
-During your stay at Malfay, you can spend your time on
the exceptionally beautiful Golf-course ‘Pierre de Lune’
(18 holes) in le Chambon sur Lignon, just an half an
hour ride from Malfay. Golf-season is open from the first
of april untill the eleventh of november.
-extra fee: 65 €
Equestrian-arrangement:
(basic experience is required)
We welcome horselovers
-the most beautiful country and mountain rides. (Parc
Naturel du Plateau Ardechois)
-donkey-trips: walking with 1 or 2 donkeys who carry
your child, luggage and picknick-basket.
- randonnée equestre: 65 €
-donkey trip: 45 €
EXTRA:
We welcome horselovers with or without their horses to
our stables. (28 ha)
Horsemen who want to take along their own horse(s)
can be provided with board (for themselves and) their
horses. You can leave your animals in good trust, all
year through. stables, pasture and loving, professional
care provided.

On request, we provide special cooking-clinics like: ‘la
Cuisine Ardèchoise’ a very creative, seasonal, rural
kitchen. Influenced by the Romans and later on the
Huguenots who came from all directions in the time
and took refuge in the inhospitable Ardèche. in the
Ardeche, food is still prepared on wood-stoves: Soups,
Stews with fresh herbs, mushrooms and lamb.
goats-cheeses (picodons) all sorts of game,
saucissons, criques, caillettes, confitures, chestnuts,
bilberries, nuts, honey and eau de vie de poires…
