| The house is situated in the village of Pretot-Vicquemare (between Doudeville and St Laurent-en-Caux near the Seine Valley (30 minutes away by car) and the Cote d’Albatre (18km). Le Treport, Dieppe, Fecamp and Honfleur are all nearby and are all definitely worth visiting. Rouen is also only 40km away. The coast has cliffs with sandy beaches at low tide in the area of St Aubin-sur-Mer and Veules-les-Roses. To the north lies the Forest d’Eawy, an ancient beech forest. The house is in one of the ”mare” of Vicquemare and has a large garden enclosed by old beech trees in a rural setting. St Laurent-en-Caux and Doudeville are nearby towns with useful shops.

| Most of the nearby villages and towns in the area have many restaurants with regional French menus. They offer many different sorts of fish and seafood. There are also many different local cheeses. Furthermore local ciders, calvados and many different kinds of French wine are on offer.

| The house is fully furnished with all modern conveniences. The price is not only dependent on the season, but also on the number of people. It can be rented out to 2 people for a fixed price (the prices are listed below) with a cost of 55 euro per week for each extra person, or 45 euro for a midweek or weekend stay. Water, electricity and fuelwood costs are included. With your booking we ask for a 100 euro security deposit that will be refunded when everything has been checked after your departure. The low season runs from October to December (apart from the Christmas holiday) through to January and onto April. Mid-season is from May to June and the Christmas holidays. In the low and mid-seasons there is the option to hire the house by the week, midweek (from Monday to Friday), or for a weekend (from Friday to Monday). The high season is in July and August, and the house can only be hired on a weekly basis at this time. All our prices are based on 2 people hiring the house. Midweek hire is 300 euro; a low-season long weekend is 250 euro. Mid-season midweek is 370 euro and a long weekend in mid-season is 300 euros. Christmas holiday hire is 500 euro per week, 400 for a midweek stay and 320 for a long weekend.
