The furnishings are very complete it is a real lived-in house other than a normal rental house, with personal objects, paintings etc, giving this old provincial house it’s own charming character. There is a large terrace which has a large garden table with chairs and at various places there are separate sitting areas, at the swimming pool there are sun couches and a sitting area.. There is also a barbeque. The gates are electrically operated and there is an interphone to guarantee optimum privacy. The rooms are all sizable the living room is 315 sq.ft, kitchen 250 sq.ft, 1st bedroom , 180 sq ft, 2nd bedroom. 250 sq ft. and there is a spacious shower bathroom a downstairs toilet and an upstairs toilet. The double beds are 160cm x 200cm each, single bed 90 x 190 cm. Several extras are in the house such as DVD, microwave, kitchen machine, frying pan, coffee machine etc. The swimming pool is 30 feet x 15 feet with a easy step into the swimming pool, it is fenced off and there is an alarm system making it a very child friendly pool situated 45 feet from the house. The house is available all year round and there is central heating and an inglenook fireplace for which an extra charge for wood is charged in winter months of euro 75 for wood
Exterior
Very rural setting on a cul-de-sac in the middle of orchards wheat and /or sunflowers fields with views over the Mont de Vaucluse and at the rear of the hose views over the Mont Ventoux. It is a prime tracking walking and cycling area close by roads that lead to the A7 motorway(15 minutes) Avignon centre (20 minutes) and the town of Le Thor with all amenities.3 miles away.
Things to do locally
There is always plenty to do and places to visit. Folders on all the possibilities can be found in the house or you can go to the local tourist agency. The antique/second hand centre Isle sur la Sorgue is 7 miles away and on Sundays boasts a fantastic Provincial market
There are three golf courses in the direct neighbourhood and in July Avignon has a bustling cultural festival (at other times also - but July is the main month)with theatre and concerts. The famous town of St Reny en Provence is 20 miles away, Caviillon 7 miles, Orange 30 miles, Vaison la Romaine 40 miles, Aix en Provence 50 miles, Arles 35 miles and Marseille 65 miles offering the beaches on the west and east side of Marseille all within driving distance. An outing to the Mont Ventoux - particularly on a warm clear day - is certainly worth doing

Obviously the Mediterranean kitchen is the favourite (and healthy) with numerous restaurants to choose from. Wine yards are plentiful from the Côtes du Rhône area, with o.a Chateauneuf du Pape, Vaqueras, Cairanne, Beaumes de Venise etc. De Mont Ventoux wines are also excellent and last but not least the superb Luberon wines with their numerous chateaus. At just 1, 5 miles from the house there is the town of Velleron where there is produce sold directly from the farms six days of the week during the period 1st April till 1st October. (at other periods three times per week) the produce is not only day fresh but at very reasonable priced and afterwards you can enjoy a glass of wine on one of the many terraces.
Other remarks
There is the possibility to order bed linen, towels etc. The price depends on how much you require. The obligatory cleaning is euro 60. A guarantee is required of euro 500 which must be paid upon arrival and is reimbursed at departure.
