| In its private grounds, next to our own water mill, and alongside a small stream lies our detached gîte. The gîte looks out onto a private wood and has a luxury bathroom (80 sq.ft) with floor heating, large shower, separate bath and a bathroom cabinet with two wash basins. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge/freezer combination, oven (with grill, hot air oven and microwave) and a granite working top with double sink and cooker. In the hall there is the entrance to the living room and a staircase leading to a bedroom (180 sq.ft.). The living room (340 sq.ft.) has an authentic beamed ceiling and a wood burning stove. Passing through the living room you arrive in a second small bedroom (110 sq.ft.) which looks out onto the stream. In the living room there is a second staircase leading up into a third large bedroom (340 sq.ft.) situated above the living room. Because the bathroom and one of the double rooms is situated on the ground floor it is particularly suited for older and disabled people.

| The Morvan - a nature park in the Bourgogne - is well known for its diversity of possible activities. Many Mountainbike routes, kayak and cycle rentals, natural swimwaters and pools, various castles and wine tasting are but a few of the possibilities. In the summer there are numerous music and theatre productions/shows, second-hand markets and village festivals are organised every year with local folk music still being played on the original instruments. At 15 min. drive away you can visit Bibracte, once upon a time a Gaelic settlement, now an archaeological research centre and museum in a beautiful woodland setting. The town of Autun is ideal for walking, shopping and enjoying the many restaurants. Particularly around the cathedral you can find numerous terraces for a drink and magnificent old town districts for an enjoyable evening walk.

There is also a broad choice of restaurants to meet everyone’s taste from simple ones to some of the best in France. We can of course provide you with information and tips on the possibilities.
