Le Paradis de Lembrun is not only a name, but really the paradise itself. The gîte is directly located on the river Lot and surrounded by fruittrees and fields of sunflowers. The swimmingpool is in front of the gîte next to a large terrace. There is also a landing-stage for boats 4,5x6,5 meter, large enough for sunbathing or a lunch/dinner with stunning views over the river. For your convenience there is a barbecue direct next to the landing-stage. You can bring your own boat, or rent a boat with or without engine. Also canoes and pedaloes are available for rent. In walking distance there is a private tenniscourt. Inside the gîte is very tastefully fitted with antique furniture and equiped with all modern conveniences.

Exterior
The Lot et Garonne is not so well known and therefor not crowded with tourist in the summer.This part of France is called the Tuscany of France mainly because of the charming villages build on the many hilltops. In the direct neighbourhood you will find the vineyards of Cahors, Bergerac, Buzet, Duras and Bordeaux.
Things to do locally
The gîte is direct located on the river Lot and on this river there are many facilities for aquatic sports like rowing, windsurfing, waterskiing, canoeing etc. Also fishing is of course possible. Furthermore in the surrounding area there are facilities for walking, biking, horseriding and golfing. 9 holes Tombeboeuf, 18 holes Castelnaud, with proshop and restaurant.

Restaurants, foods & wine
There are a lot of restaurants in the area, especially the restaurants in the charming villages on the hilltops are recommended. For the winelovers there are the vineyards of Cahors, Bergerac, Buzet, Duras and Bordeaux nearby. Especially a visit to the nearby town St Emilion is a must. But also the vineyards of Cahors, which are compared with the famous vineyards of the Cape in South Africa, are certainly worth visiting.
