| ”The Jays” cottage has a wealth of original features with oak beams and large fireplace with a wood burning stove. An open plan lounge with large dining table, tv and settees leads into a separate farmhouse kitchen fully fitted and equipped. There is a downstairs w.c. and upstairs four large bedrooms and bathroom. Guests are requested to provide their own linen. The heating is provided by electric wall heaters and the wood burning stove, all electric and wood included in the weekly rent.

| The gîte is one of three within a Normandy Longhouse surrounded by private gardens and orchards on a 2 acrea site especially safe for children. There is ample parking, barbeque areas, play areas and quiet relaxing lawns with garden furniture surrounded by trees and shrubs.

Historical attractions include the medieval town of Domfront, St. Malo, Le Mont St. Michel, Dinan and Fougeres.
St. Hilaire is famed for its huge regional market every Wednesday.
Activities include a local water sports park, enchanted village, acquarium, golf, cycling and horse riding.
Beaches - The sandy beaches of Carolles and Granville are 45mins by car. The Normandy D-Day landing beaches are accessible together with Bayeux and its famous tapastry.

The gîte is available throughout the year with the High season being July/Aug & Christmas, Mid season April/May/June/Sept/Oct and Low season Nov to March.
Note - Duvets and pillows are provided but guests must provide all covers, sheets, bed linen, towels etc. There are also two other 3-bedroomed gîtes available.
