| Our house has 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (one of which is new and the other with authentic pink decoration) and 2 separate toilets. Three of the bedrooms have double beds; one has a single bed and the fifth bedroom also a single bed with a second pull-out bed. On the first floor there is the kitchen and living room with open inglenook fireplace and dining area.

| Our house lies on the border of the river Ceou, a fast streaming artery of the Dordogne River with wild trout. Saint Cybranet lies in the “Vallée des 7 Chateaux” at a short distance from Catelnaud, Beynac, Domme, Daglan, the small castle of Josephine Baker, Chateau des Milandes, and 12 kilometers from Sarlat. A small supermarket and bar/restaurant are within walking distance.

| From Castelnaud la Chapelle you can take various canoeing trips over the Dordogne, probably the best way to enjoy the surrounding scenery. The numerous possibilities to visit castles in the area are overwhelming.

| The area is famous for its black truffles, foie gras and confit de canard and its gastronomic regional kitchen. There are regular (evening) markets in the area where local produce can be tasted and bought and the yearly wine market (mainly Cahors and Bergerac) in Cenac, only 5 kilometers away, is certainly well worthwhile visiting.

We have put a lot of love and attention into renovating our house and its surrounding park, directly on the river Ceou. We have also added our own private swimming pool and a large terrace with lanterns. The surroundings are magnificent and offer a wealth of history and culinary surprises.
