This is a 17th century house that has been renovated using traditional methods, and where possible many of the original details have been saved. Consequently the house has beautiful exposed oak beams and stonewalls. There is a modern bathroom and kitchen for all of your everyday needs. The living room has a large wood burning stove, which can be lit for the cooler evenings, e.g. during Winter and in the Summer guests can open the folding doors leading out to the garden. There is garden furniture and a barbecue available.
The house has three sleeping-appartments, one on the ground floor next to the bathroom and two on the first floor. Every bedroom sleeps two persons. If you wish to come with more people, no problem, it is also possible [for example] to have children sleeping on the camping wich is also on our land or to rent one or more rooms in the former ‘etable’.
The whole estate is available for our guests to enjoy, e.g. you can take a refreshing dive in our swimming pool or sit under the Lime tree with a drink. If guests do not feel like cooking, then join your hosts for a meal, freshly prepared every day using vegetables and herbs from the kitchen garden. Guests can also have breakfast prepared for them. For further information about what activities and accommodation is available please click on the link for our own site.

Our land is situated on the border of the rural village Gannay sur Loire in the far north of the Auvergne region, and is only a stone’s throw, from the beautiful regions of Morvan and Bourgogne.
This country estate is set in more than two hectares of attractive countryside and has the following accommodation available; three bed & breakfast rooms, two holiday houses, a maisonnette and a little ‘camping à la ferme’.
As mentioned above, the accommodation is basis bed & breakfast, but if our guests do not feel like cooking, or going out to a restaurant, then you are most welcome to have dinner with your hosts. Trudi is an experienced chef and prepares dinner every day with delicious side dishes / accompaniments. There is also a menu available if guests would prefer a vegetarian meal. Most of the vegetables and herbs used, are grown in our own kitchen garden. Trudi will ensure that the dinner and breakfast will provide guests with plenty of energy for the day’s activities, e.g. walking, cycling etc.

The beautiful and quiet surroundings are perfect for cycling or walking. The famous Loire is a short walk from the estate, and guests can swim, fish, canoe or just relax by the riverbanks. On the other side of the village there is a canal that runs parallel with the Loire, here guests will find a yacht club and restaurant, (the yachts are available for hire).
If guests would prefer to be more actively entertained we organise kayak tours on the Loire and also a large amusement park within a half hour’s driving.
