| The house has a large south facing garden; where it is also in the winter ideal to enjoy the peace and quiet. The house is designed for six people with a living room downstairs and two large bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. There are no further outbuildings; you can walk directly into the woods from the house with several walking routes directly available. In the garden there are several chairs and places to sit. Parking for your car are immediately behind the house in the private grounds out of view of the house. The furnishing reflects the atmosphere of the type of area, simple but complete with fridge, oven and microwave. The beds are large and of a good quality and are made up before your arrival. All the necessary kitchen linen is included in the rental as well as towels and wood for the fireplace.

| The house lies in the high Voges and is in an uninhabited valley in a sunny opening in the woods. Deer, boer and other wildlife are daily visitors. Within 5 to 10 minutes drive you are in one of the many tourist centres such as Xonrupt-Longemer and Gerardmer

| La Brande is the perfect base for activities such as walking, cross country skiing, canoeing, swimming, cycling or horseback riding which can all be done in the direct neighbourhood. Magnificent car trips lead you to Colmar, the wine growing area of the Voges, the grand Ballon and several castles and other cultural places of interest.
