The interior of the gîte has been completely refurbished to an excellent standard, with artifcats, art and various paintings. There are a total of 6 sofas in the main room alone and a massive open fireplace and a further 2 sitting areas in the library. each area of the house features unique features such as the old brick work and beams. Old style arga is used int he kitchen and rooms have onsuite bathrooms
Exterior
the property is situated on 14 hectares of its own woods, fields and caves. With some of the most stunning views from the bedrooms. In addition you look over the walnut orchard as you swim. Playing tennis is fabulous and you look out over wooded trees and orchards from the raised tennis court.
Things to do locally
Fontaine de tarrieu actually has most of its own activities such as bikes, walking areas, swimming pool, kayaks, climbing areas etc. Its a totally self contained property that allows either individuals or groups to visit in either its chambre d’hotes or its gîtes. We also have archery on the property with instruction if required. In addition to new mountian bikes, kayaks we also have a fully furnished gym with weights and other machines.

You may eat at the property itself as food can be provided and cooked by the family and the resident chef either at your property or in the Cookery classroom area. there is a well stocked wine cellar in Fontaine de tarrieu and you can choose your wine with dinner. There are local restaurants with some famous chefs having set up their own restaurants in the region

Fontaine de tarrieu is a complete holiday retreat. it doesnt matter what is required, the friendly staff and owners are hear to help you with everything you need. It could be airport pick up or organising a special dinner or birthday treat. Everything is possible.This incredible property has basically everythin you could wish for in a holiday home. With its beautiful swimming pool, tennis court, archery, mountain bikes, orchards, tree houses for kids, kids play area and gym. There is so much to do as a family except in the privacy of your own home.
