This charming cottage has a lovely living room with fully equiped corner kitchen, dining table with 4 stairs overlook the front of the house and the comfortable furnished sitting room area has a sofa and chairs, satellite television, DVD player with a large and interesting selection DVD’s, CD player radio. The gîte has 2 toilets, one upstairs and one downstairs. Stairs from the living room lead to a landing with built in cupboard and Bedroom 1 with a double bed and wardrobe. Leading off this room is the bathroom with bath plus shower over, washbasin, electric heater and wc. The second bedroom is also accessed via the main bedroom and has bunk beds. The cottage has several electric heaters, also there is a big wood burner which gives a pleasant warmth throughout the cottage but it is also very cosy and romantic! This cottage is superb for 2 adults and 2 children.
Exterior
This gîte is located in the countryside, with a beautiful river at 5 min. walking distance. Beached less than half an hour away. The gîte is approached via its own driveway and entrance gates which can be closed to make the grounds secure for children. Pets are allowed. Plenty of parking space and lawned areas with garden furniture and BBQ.
Things to do locally
Beautiful sandy beaches, golfcourses, horse riding facilities and swimming pool less than half an hour. Big villages close by are Coutances (Cathedral), Avranches (built on a sleeping vulcano) and Saint Lô. Further there are the famous Normandy Abby’s and Castles. The most famous beach resort is Granville with a big choice of terraces and shops certainly worth a visit. Also the impressive Mont St. Michel is only 45 min. drive from this cottage.
