Interior
Welcome to villa Favienta Loca, a meticulously renovated bergerie (shepherd’s house). This large and airy home stands on 3700m2 enclosed grounds graced with mature trees and ancient olives. The property is at once private and easy accessible and passable because of its flat terrain. Favienta Loca features 250 m2 tastefully restored living space and is equipped with every modern convenience. The front door opens to a large entrance hall, leading to a mezzanine gallery and two large bedrooms. The bedrooms are furnished with double beds (180x200 and 160x200 cm)and one room has an extra single bed. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom with shower, sink and toilet.
The main floor on the lower level consists of a large L-shaped living room (55 m2) with a wood burning fireplace, a dining room, a family room and a kitchen. All with access to a large terrace. The living room is furnished with two sofas, a large coffee table and a bookcase filled with (travel)books. Here you will also find the satellite TV and audio equipment. The kitchen is fully quipped with an oven, microwave, a fridge-freezer, a dishwasher and ample good quality cooking utensils and tableware. From the terrace you can view the private swimming pool (10x5m). Garden furniture consists of a large teakwood table plus chairs, loungers, two umbrellas and sun loungers.

Exterior
The villa is a short 3 km from the picturesque village of Fayence, perched among the beautiful rolling hills of the scenic Provence. It is part of a cluster of five charming medieval hill-top villages. Fayence is also within easy access to the Riviera. In the village you will find everything for your daily needs: bakery, supermarket, restaurants, quaint gift shops, antique stores and the post and the tourist office. You can shop three times a week at the farmers market or venture to nearby beach resort towns such as Cannes, Fréjus and St. Raphaèl within 35 km. Access to Nice airport in just 45 minutes. Or try a short excursion to St. Tropez (1 hour). Fayence is also just an hour’s drive from the impressive Gorges du Verdon – the European Grand Canyon – and lake St.Croix. Lake St. Cassien is another close-in destination.
Things to do locally
Whether you savor a slow stroll and time for reflection, or if you’re in pursuit of sport, cultural events and great sightseeing, every opportunity is right here. To the south the bustle of the Riviera, to the north the quietude of the “pays arrière” (hinterland). Almost every day you can poke around a Provençal market in one of the interesting villages nearby or explore various museums and art galleries. Many golf courses are conveniently close. And don’t miss Fayence for its annual antique show, that attracts visitors from all over France.

Fayence hosts a wide variety of restaurants. Nearby are three restaurants that rank with a Michelin-star. You can even taste and purchase the local vintage at one of the many nearby vineyards.

Rental period is Saturday to Saturday. Low season: Nov-April, except for Dec 21/2008 - Jan. 03/2009, rate: 1250 euro/week. Mid season: June and September. High Season 2000: July 4 - September 6. May and October: 1000 euro/week, except for April 25 - May 9, rate: 1250 euro/week. Weekly rates includes usage of gas, water and electricity, all linens and weekly pool maintenance, excluding use of telephone and a mandatory final cleaning service of 100 euros. Additonal heating costs of 50 euros/week in low leason. We require a security deposit of 500 euros. Swimming pool open May-October. Extra’s: golfclub rental and pull carts.
