One of the 18th century outbuildings has been equipped for two gîtes.All has been fully restored in the local style.
-The first gîte(2 to 4 persons)has a surface of 72M2. It is arranged in a large sitting room with fireplace annex kitchen(stove, fridge and a dishwasher), separate bedroom with bathroom. This bedroom has two beds of 90 by 2 meters long and a small sofabed, the living room has a larger sofabed of 140 by 2 meters long. There is a washing machine that is to be shared with the other gîte.
-The second gîte(4 to 6 persons)has a surface of 80 M2.It is arranged in a large sitting room with fireplace annex kitchen(stove, fridge and a dishwasher),two separate bedrooms, a bathroom and a separate toilet. Both the bedrooms have two beds of 80 by 2 meters, the living room has a larger sofabed of 140 by 2 meters long. There is a washing machine that is to be shared with the other gîte.
Everything is available in the gîtes except for bedlinen, towels and dishtowels. You can rent bedlinen here, towels and dishtowels you have to take yourself.

The domaine the Chassy is located in the middle of France, in the Cher département, in the region the Berry. The nearest town is Bourges, app.250 km south of Paris. Domaine the Chassy, dating back partly to the 14th and partly to the 18th century, consists of a main house and several other buildings. All has been fully restored in the local style. Near the house there is a large swimmingpool (72 m2 ). The farmhouse is surrounded by ample lawns with plenty of sitting space.
One of the 18th century outbuildings has been equipped for two gîtes, in the main house and in another outhouse there are five guestrooms so called chambres d’hôtes. The rural surroundings offer plenty of golfing opportunities and are very suitable for hiking and biking

A selection of places nearby:
Vineyards; you are here in the region, well known for its white wines, like Sancerre, Menetou Salon, Pouilly-fumé, Quincy, Reuilly, Chateaumeillant.
Golf; there are lots of opportunities to play golf near the domaine( 9 and 18 holes) The five golf courses are at app. 25-40 km away from Chassy. The courses are very quiet, inexpensive and you often do not need a golf licence.
Castles; the route of Jacques Coeur, known for its beautiful and interesting castles and there is a route with plenty of roman churches.
Bourges; Julius César thought Bourges to be the most beautiful city of Gaul. The city is well known for its art and history. Bourges has the famous cathedral of Saint Etienne with its stained-glass windows. Bourges also has good restaurants and nice cafés/bars.
Nearby there are all kinds of gardens you can visit, like the rose garden of Ainay le Vieil, Apremont with its bautiful english garden, the medieval garden of Orsan etc.
During the summer don’t miss the antique markets, mostly in the weekends. The villages nearby all have their local markets, Sancoins is known for its cattle market.
The Countryside offers a lot of possibilities for nice strolls, like the famous fôret de Tronçais which is worth the visit, here you can walk around for hours( we have a walking map of the area with several distances.)
