This is fabulous walking, hiking, cycling, horse-riding country, canoeing/kayaking country. Bike hire is available in Couiza 10km away, they will deliver.The TOUR DE FRANCE passes close by. Swim in your private pool or in the thermal pool at Rennes les Bains (which is open until the begining of November), in the surrounding rivers and lakes. In Carcassonne there is an excellent Golf course. 45 mins away there is a gliding strip. 90 minutes to the ski slopes. A fabulous 90 minute drive through the Gorges de Galamus, passing through vineyards to Perpignan and the beaches of the Mediterranean. If ART is your passion Le Chemin des Artistes is an absolute must to visit - during 4 days of the Ascension weekend artists show their works in private homes, galleries, churches, there is so much to choose from.
In the summer nearly every village has a fete, there is music and open air markets.
Look out for the Festival de la Cite in Carcassonne a series of Summer concerts in the amphitheatre within the walls of the old city. A truly fabulous experience. Visit the mountain top Cathar Castles and the fairytale walled city of Carcassonne.

| There is an excellent restaurant in the village of Sougrainge, a pizzeria and two restaurants in Rennes les Bains. A variety of excellent restaurants in the surrounding villages. There are numerous vineyards to visit for tastings, you will be spoilt for a choice of wines.

A FLOTATION TANK is available for use. This is housed in it’s own suite of rooms with private shower. The price for a 1 hour float is 48 euros for gîte guests.
To confirm your booking a 25% non-refundable deposit will be required. The Balance will be due 8 weeks prior to your arrival. Please make sure that you have travel insurance cover in case of cancellation.
Low Season £50/60euros pw Heating charge. Logs £10/12euros a barrow.
Price includes all linen, towels and pool towels.
