This renovated country home has two floors. You enter through the lovely provincial kitchen that has been designed with everything needed for cooking ease and forms the centre of the home. The combined living room/dining room has a hearth, a comfortable couch for 3 and lounge, dining table, a stereo, satellite TV and DVD. One of the 3 bedrooms is downstairs. It has a 160X200 cm canopy spring bed with high foot posts (2 mattresses together). The adjoining bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet. Upstairs are the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms reached by the staircase in the living room, also with spring beds (140X190cm). There are sufficient closets throughout the house. Next to the bedroom is a 2nd bathroom with bath/shower, sink, toilet, and a place for keeping the towels warm. The 3rd bedroom is used as a study and can be connected to ADSL on request. Then there is also a little cosy guesthouse just a few meters away with a nice place to lounge outside. There is a kitchen sink with warm and cold water. A toilet and an additional bedroom (2 twin beds) with a large toilet and sink. There is no shower room here but guests can use one of the bathrooms in the main house or shower outside by the pool. There is a camping bed for babies or small children and a little pool. Our home is a very nice unusually cosy place for spending a holiday.
Exterior
Note: arrivals and departures on Sunday. Our charming country home (bastide) with guesthouse is situated in a lovely area just outside of the village Carcès. The glowing land of 12.000 m2 offers rest, privacy, quiet, space and a perfect green view. A large piece of the property lies along the banks of the Argens, a great river for swimming, playing, canoeing or kayaking for young and old. There are many places for hiking and wonderful trails for horseback riding. Along one of the routes not so far from the house you come across the winery “Domaine de Ste. Croix”. The mosaic swimming pool is 4 X 8 m with safety features. The deck is tiled and sunny all day while the house is shaded. The patio is also sunny. It has terrace furniture and a barbecue on wheels (Weber BBQ). Hideaway on the hammock under the shade of a nut tree or find your favourite place on one of the pool lounges.

Just next door to the winery St Croix. Many good restaurants in the area including some with a Michelin star. Wonderful truffle restaurant Bruno 18 km away.
