From the balcony (south facing) you have a breath taking view over the mountains beyond.
The ski bus (navette) stops 100m. From the chalet and takes you to the nearest ski slope, 7 km. away.
Things to do locally
In wintertime this, this area offers you everything one wood like to have for a successful ski holiday, for advanced skiers as for starters. Also in the summer, there is lots to do, such as: golf, hang gliding, a visit to the Lake of Annecy, the villages Talloires and Menthon Saint Bernard and least of all, don’t forget to visit the town of Annecy it self.

This area has a beautiful kitchen, such as: Pot au Feu (stew of meat) Raclette, tartiflettes, and cheese fondue. Honey, jams, sausages from this area are made with nuts, mushrooms, garlic etc. taste lovely with a beautiful glass of wine of the Haute Savoie or a glass of Eau de Vie. The best bakery shop is in Manigod it self, the bread is made in the old fashioned way in an oven heated with wood. There is too much to mention, it is absolutely wise to visit and see for your self.
Other remarks
The chalet is also in summer time ideally situated; 15 min. from the Lake of Annecy, where you can swim, sail, water cycling, golf, and the mountain sports offers again an other challenge than in winter time.
It is for summer as in winter time the ideal area.
