The Bergerie has a fully equipped charming dining-kitchen with big fridge, freezer, oven,extra oven,dishwasher, gas cooking plate. The living room with open fire place has a sofa and 2 feauteuils, a dining table with extension up till 9p. TV, DVD player, sounddock MP3player available on request. In the corridor separate toilet, garderobe, magnetron, washing machine and dryer. Open small office with iron possibilities. Upstairs a stunning bedroom with double bed, open fire place, cupboards, luxury bathroom with bath, separate shower, double basin, toilet. The entire complex has central heating. There is an exclusive private salt water swimming pool (8x4, jet stream, outdoor shower and mandatory security alarm system) with panoramic view. The pretty flowered terraces with parasols are fully furnished with lounges and sun chairs, enough for everyone to find a favourite spot in the sun or shade by the lovely smells of lavender, rosemary, thyme and mint: typical herbs of the Provence.

Exterior
The property (2.5 hectares) consists of age old land terraces of numerous fruit trees as well as olive, fig, apricot and almond trees set between beds of lavender, rosemary and thyme bushes. There is a panoramic view of hillsides of the Méditerrannée and the Massif des Maures. The house is situated just 8 minutes by car from Cotignac, one of the oldest most characteristic medieval villages built against a rock. Here you can find 3 fine bakeries/”boulangeries” and other shops for your daily groceries. Also, the quaintest “all-round-shop Paulette” as well as other typical provencal shops, antiques and boutiques. In Carcés, also only 8 minutes drive, you will find the fresh supermarket Ecomarché. Within 10-20 minutes from home you can visit several old villages with their daily markets. You will find an up-to-date list of all the regional markets, restaurants and antiques-fairs in the house. Only about an hour away from Cannes, Nice (+airport), Toulon (+Hyères airport and shopping centre Le Grand Var), Marseille (airport), St. Tropez and the most attractive and cultural village Aix-en-Provence. The lakes: Lac St.Croix and Lac Esparon are only an hour away as is the Gorges du Verdon (”the Grand Canyon of Europe”), a wonderful and adventurous outing (also ”kajaking” possible).
Things to do locally
There’s a great salt water swimming pool with jet stream for fun and exercise (with mandatory security alarm built in), jeux de boules, darts, pool table, ping pong, table football, and many games are available. You can go kayaking nearby. Tuesday there’s an extensive local market in Cotignac and every other day there is a market at one of the other quaint villages nearby. From May through September there are many festivals and gatherings around and antiques fairs. From the house you can make great walks into many surrounding nature areas like the “Le Bessillon” (810m high) or take the car up to the viewpoint to see the magnificent 360 degree panorama towards the Massif d’Ecrin 4000m. Additionally there are many other hikes to take in the area. We’ve got maps and routes for you at the house. “La Boussarelle” is situated along the wine route known as ”ARTS et VINS” (art stands for look-buy; wine for taste-buy) of the Provence. In our direct vicinity are many good provencal restaurants we’ve listed for you to try.
